More Beyoncé patches! Hot off the conveyor-belt dryer, hand silkscreened by yours truly. My favorite part of running a distro is all the mail I get. I should do mail-orders more often!

I thought that having a summer break would mean having time to work on all the art I’ve been putting off during the school year. I want to make 4 x 4 foot wood cuts, I want to build large scale paper cut outs, I want to have the inspiration to draw all the tattoos that my friends have asked me to do. However, I find myself uninterested in doing anything. Can anyone share some advice on how to get motivated without an institutional structure?
∞51 | reblogI told my friend that I wanted to watch Drive and then make out so I could pretend he was Ryan Gosling. He replied that he wanted to watch Taken and make out with me so he could pretend I was Liam Neeson.

We screen-printed this onto our door with dark grey house paint!
Design by Jeremy Hurley
Yesterday Jeremy, my mom and I silkscreened this design onto the external door at the Bloomington Print Collective using a giant dumpstered screen and old Kilz house paint. It took two of us to hold the screen steady and one person to pull the image using a squeegee half the size of the image. DIY AS SHIT!!!

I designed this poster for a June11.org benefit event in Bloomington and will probably screen-print it this weekend… and yes, I do draw banners whenever I don’t have a better idea.

Practicing my archery skills with Jake’s recurve bow this week. I can’t wait to get a nice recurve bow of my own instead of my silly junior compound!

Here is the insert I made for Ravaged Ideals. Ravaged Ideals is a benefit cassette tape for Mujeres Latinas en Accion, a bilingual and bicultural agency that seeks to empower women to become self- reliant and improve the quality of their lives. They’ve done a lot for the Chicago-land southside neighborhoods including offering childcare, domestic violence and sexual abuse support and relief, and billingual education.
The lineup of the tape is: Foul Crux, Vile Intent, Rape Revenge, Haka, Sex Bunker, Sandwitches, Worn Out, Consent, Rayos X, and Cloud Rat. The tape will be out early June for $3-4, so keep an eye out at distros and contact Jack at bannedmag@yahoo.com if you are interested in distributing the tape!
